CAEP supported analysis of the energy sector, reviewing existing policies, engaging with ministries and international partners, and organizing workshops for knowledge exchanges to feed into the National Energy Strategy.

NDC quality has been enhanced by laying foundations for the Climate Finance Strategy and outlining legislation on comprehensive monitoring, reporting and evaluation of greenhouse gas (GHG) data.

CAEP supported a budgeting exercise of climate action, which was concluded by a capacity building workshop to strengthen the tracking and reporting of climate funds flow.
Additionally provided technical assistance to complete a gap analysis and put forward recommendations for the MRV framework.
