Lebanon’s NDC strives to integrate gender into its process to enhance implementation and consideration of vulnerable groups.

For example, the whole-of-society approach was applied in designing the LGIF, with CAEP supporting the drafting process of bylaws that strengthen the governance structures and inclusion of a range of stakeholders.
CAEP also provided technical assistance to produce gender-disaggregated data where possible, and outline gender-specific actions across the NDC objectives.
